The Client #

Dream Yachts Charters backbone is run on a legacy system to manage yacht inventory. It’s also used as a portal for charter customers to manage their booking and upload any information needed. It was a typical portal put together by back-end engineers and was in desperate need of a face lift. I was tasked with modernizing the interface and aligning it to it’s parent chartering site look and feel.

The challenge #

Apply a quick overhaul of DYCs customer portal. With little time and a slim budget

In addition we were looking to:

• Increasing online bookings (particularly across Crewed and By-the-cabin Charters)
• Reducing bounce rate for destination pages
• Reducing the amount of questions DYC agents get from prospective customers
